Great interview! I found the information discussed insightful and thought provoking.

I have HSP but I didn't know it for a long time. I always felt there was something terribly wrong with me but now I know that I am a HSP and it's Ok. I just need to understand myself and my needs and I will be happy and healthy.

You mentioned in your interview that HSP may have more mental illnesses and the reason needs to be explored.

To me the reason is clear. Most people who are HSP don't know it and are overwhelmed with every day life. They don't know how to protect their sensitive nature so they are in put in harms way much of the time.

I suffered from Fibromyalgia, CMFP, Complex PTSD, stomach problems and great anxiety for the better part of my life. Partly due to being raised by gestapo-like mother and living in a world that doesn't tolerate people like me. They think they always have to toughen us up. So after a while we push ourselves beyond our limits and suffer the consequences some physical others mental illnesses.

It is sad what has been done to many of us HSP and I'm glad to see research being done on this important subject.

Thank you.
